Fla. governor issues order prohibiting vaccine passports

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has banned the state from issuing COVID-19 passports and businesses from demanding that customers show them their COVID-19 vaccination or recovery documentation, saying this practice would produce “huge” privacy concerns and “two classes of citizens based on vaccination.” Businesses that violate the executive order are ineligible to receive state-funded contracts or grants.
