Former Air Force pilot pursues dream job at Southwest

Former Air Force pilot Tamaron Nicklas has returned to the pilot’s seat as a first officer at Southwest Airlines after 24 years away from flying. After getting some experience flying commercially for a regional airline, she flew her inaugural flight at Southwest with her husband, Capt. Larry Nicklas. “Whatever you want to do, just work hard and you’re going to do it,” she said.
