Former player-now-pilot flies fans for championship game

Having played with the winning Georgia team in the 1980 championship game, Southwest Airlines pilot Tom Lewis also piloted a charter flight to bring college football fans from Atlanta to Indianapolis for the 2021 national college championship game between Georgia and Alabama. Lewis’ son also supported the team as part of the Georgia Redcoat Marching Band at Monday’s game.
