Groupize Introduces Automated Assistant ‘Gia’

Meetings platform Groupize on Tuesday launched the automated Groupize Interactive Advisor—’Gia’, for short. Gia provides a self-driven onboarding platform and educational videos, a step-by-stop guided tech tour and learning center for occasional meeting organizers to get up to speed when approaching the platform for the first time—or after a gap in usage. Gia also guides users through task-based checklists and offers on-screen assistance as well as chat functionality and can communicate about new features and prompt users toward desired booking behaviors.

Groupize saw the need for Gia as companies energetically return to smaller meetings and events as pandemic concerns wane. At the same time, the meetings tech provider predicts a large number of new and occasional users will need guidance to use the tools and features effectively. Gia has been launched in response to that need, according to company executives, and is the latest of Groupize’s recent initiatives, among them expanded language and currency capabilities, pay and workflow enhancements and virtual network services. Groupize pointed out that even with Gia in play, the company continues to provide a dedicated human account manager for the first year. Gia can also be customized, for a fee, to drive customized policy, additional enablement and proprietary content.
