Hawaii hotel occupancy swells as pandemic ebbs

It’s not Paradise yet for Hawaii’s hospitality industry, but a growing influx of tourists pushed the occupancy rate to 49% for the week ending April compared to 12% a year earlier, STR reports. Progress brought on by vaccine availability and eased restrictions has been achieved despite scant foreign visitation thus far.
