Hawaii resort takes lead in demanding vaccinations

‘Alohilani Resort will join six other Waikiki properties owned by the Highgate company as the first in Hawaii to require coronavirus vaccination proof by all guests, employees and patrons. Hawaii Tourism Authority CEO John De Fries said he hopes other hotels do likewise in a state that recorded 706 new infection cases per day between Aug. 30 and Sept. 5.
