Hawaii tourists invited to pitch in

Visitors to Hawaii are contributing time and talent to local communities and being rewarded with free nights in hotels under a new “voluntourism” program aimed at promoting mindful travel. More than 70 hotels are taking part in the initiative launched by the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and Hawaii Tourism Authority.
