Hawaiian outlines climate, diversity, philanthropic efforts

In its 2021 corporate responsibility report, Hawaiian Airlines addressed efforts to address climate change, foster diversity and inclusion and continue to provide essential transportation for passenger and cargo to, from, and within the islands, as well as the airline’s philanthropic initiatives over the last year. Hawaiian’s philanthropic efforts during the pandemic, included donating $472,000 worth of catering goods and hundreds of thousands of inflight amenity items and flying medical personnel among the islands. Employee volunteers also gave about 6,500 hours to cultural, environmental and school maintenance activities.
