Hawaiian staff to teach local aircraft maintenance classes

Hawaiian Airlines is supporting Honolulu Community College’s aircraft maintenance program by assigning two veteran employees to teach classes, allowing the program to double its enrollment. “We are enthusiastic to have our employees share their on-the-job expertise to inspire and prepare Hawaii students for successful careers in aviation,” said Jim Landers, senior vice president of technical operations at Hawaiian.
