US hotel occupancy reached a record high on Christmas, according to STR, while a spate of notable acquisitions and expansions has taken place since the holiday. None of the Top 25 Markets surpassed 2019 occupancy levels, and the San Francisco and New York City areas suffered deficits of 32% and 30%, respectively, in revenue per available room.
