Hong Kong lifts hotel quarantine for travelers

Hong Kong’s mandatory three-day hotel quarantine has been lifted in hopes of reviving the city’s travel and tourism sector after three years of strict pandemic measures. The city plans to host the International Rugby Sevens tournament in November, but the remaining COVID restrictions, such as pre-flight vaccination certification and a three-day period before visitors can dine in restaurants, may deter international travelers.
