Host Hotels CEO discusses a recent acquisition, potential for future deals

Host Hotels & Resorts President and CEO Jim Risoleo said he believes being an all-cash buyer gave the REIT a competitive advantage as it bid for and acquired the Four Seasons Resort & Residences in Jackson Hole. The resort was part of a larger portfolio owned by the former Anbang Insurance Group, and Risoleo says Host might be interested in some of the other properties in that portfolio if they are brought to market. Risoleo also discussed the CMBS market, the company’s outlook and the impact of Hurricane Ian.
