Hotel entertainment amenities appeal to leisure, business travelers

With strong demand for leisure travel, hotel owners and operators are adding new features focused on entertainment to keep guests engaged and give them more reasons to visit. In some cases, these investments are also being used to appeal to business travelers, with Pebblebrook Hotel Trust CFO Raymond Martz pointing out that companies are using its resorts to help team members come together. To support this new demand from business travelers, the REIT is adding amenities such as zip lines and tech-enabled pool cabanas.
