Hotel room rate, revenue forecast revised upward

STR and Tourism Economics bumped up their June forecast for hotel room rates and revenue per room this week but slightly downgraded their occupancy outlook. The average daily rate projection, up from $145 to $148, comes despite an expected falloff in leisure travel and consumer concerns about the economy.
