Hotel sales increase as travel booms

Despite economic uncertainties, the explosion of post-pandemic travel shows no sign of slowing, writes Daniel H. Lesser, co-founder, president and CEO of LW Hospitality Advisors. At the same time, many hotel properties are changing hands: 119 single-asset sales over $10 million totaling about $3.7 billion took place in the third quarter compared with 88 transactions totaling $4.8 billion in the same quarter a year ago, according to LW Hospitality Advisors’ Major US Hotel Sales Survey.
