Hotel stay costs continue to rise

The rising cost of a night’s stay in a hotel has contributed to the increase in consumer and producer price indexes in September. In addition to continued high demand, hotels are facing labor shortages and other pandemic-related problems that can force them to remove rooms from service, according to Hotel Association of Los Angeles CEO Heather Rozman, who says, “like everybody else, we’re subject to the laws of supply, demand, cost of goods.”
