Hotel tax weighed for sports facility in Owensboro, Ky.

City officials in Owensboro, Ky., may impose a 4% hotel and vacation rental tax to help finance the building of an indoor sports complex. The proposed measure will be voted on this month, and if approved will take effect in January.
