Hotel value leap shows Texas buyer’s Fla. Enthusiasm

A waterfront hotel in Florida has fetched $37.9 million from a Texas buyer after selling for $20.2 million a decade ago. The Waterstone Resort & Marina Boca Raton is the second Florida hotel acquisition by Newbond Holdings, whose spokseman cited “the unabated flow of families and businesses relocating to this market.”
