Hoteliers didn’t snooze through rising need for shuteye
Sleep-oriented amenities, ranging from hypnotherapy to soothing tea, are being offered by a growing number of hotels in response to widespread stress caused and exacerbated by pandemic-driven confinement. “They’d been in their homes so much, that it was quite an adventure to get out of their cocoon, and I think it was the right timing to reassure people when they left their home, to have this offer at the same time,” says General Manager Xavier Lablaude of London’s Cadogan hotel, which launched a Sleep Concierge service last year.
