Hotels striving to make LGBTQ guests feel at home

LGBTQ travelers, who’ve often felt unwelcome and even unsafe in lodgings, are finding increased emphasis on inclusivity on the part of hotels, some of them gay- and lesbian-owned. Special offerings such as communal happy hours and directions to local LGBTQ-oriented events accompany staff training in sensitivity.
