House panel advances multilingual airport sign mandate

The House Homeland Security Committee has approved legislation that would require signs and instructions at US airports, as well as their website content, to be available in multiple languages. The proposal would also require the Transportation Security Administration to improve communications with people who have vision or hearing impairment.
