How leopard-print fabric helped animal research

Researchers covered themselves in store-bought leopard print fabric to study how female putty-nosed monkeys in the Republic of Congo sounded the alarm about potential predators. The monkeys made different calls depending on whether the predator was on the ground or in the air, and male monkeys were expected to defend their group.
