Hurtigruten, the esteemed Norwegian cruise line, has launched an exciting new category of travel offerings called Signature voyages for the 2025-26 season. This move introduces a premium, all-inclusive experience for travelers exploring the Norwegian coast.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural premium sailings, the Svalbard Express and the North Cape Express, Hurtigruten is rebranding these itineraries as The Svalbard Line and The North Cape Line. This change reflects significant enhancements and expansions to these voyages, distinguishing them from Hurtigruten’s Original Coastal Express routes.

The newly named The North Cape Line will operate from fall to spring aboard the MS Trollfjord, beginning in Oslo and visiting 14 ports, with eight days spent above the Arctic Circle. Subsequently, from May to September, the same vessel will embark on The Svalbard Line, journeying from Bergen to Svalbard.

Hedda Felin, CEO of Hurtigruten, emphasized the unique aspects of these offerings, stating, “Our Signature voyages embody the essence of Norwegian coastal cruising. Each itinerary has been thoughtfully designed to ensure our guests embark on a journey that captures the very essence of Norway’s coastal charm and heritage.” These premium offerings will include all-inclusive culinary experiences, premium beverages, enhanced guiding, exclusive activities, longer port stays, and relaxation amenities.

In addition to these premium routes, Hurtigruten will continue to operate its Original Coastal Express, which plays a vital role in connecting local communities along the Norwegian coast. The reorganization of these offerings aims to streamline the decision-making process for guests, travel agents, and partners, making it easier to choose between the traditional and premium voyage options.

Moreover, Hurtigruten has doubled its departure capacity from Oslo, enhancing the accessibility of its voyages and offering more opportunities for travelers to experience the rich cultural and natural tapestry of Norway from its vibrant capital.

This strategic expansion not only reinforces Hurtigruten’s commitment to delivering exceptional coastal voyages but also positions Oslo as a central hub for starting these unique Scandinavian adventures.
