IATA advocates global adoption of EU vaccine certification

The International Air Transport Association is urging the adoption of the European Union’s Digital COVID Certificate as a worldwide standard for certifying vaccination and testing status. IATA Deputy Director General Conrad Clifford said the system is designed to accept input from outside the EU and 60 countries are considering adopting the EU mechanism.
