Iberia Maintenance has won a contract to maintain 32 V2500 engines for Hong Kong low-fare carrier HK Express’s A320ceo and A321ceo fleet.

In 2015, the maintenance company obtained Pratt & Whitney’s licence for V2500 engines and joined the IAE network. Iberia Maintenance specialises in CFM56, V2500 and RB211 engines, with the V2500 engines comprising over half of its current workload.

“This award is a testament to the Iberia Maintenance teams striving for improvement as we continue to develop our service offering on the V2500, working closely with industry partners to bring real value to the customer,” said Andy Best, Chief Technical Officer at Iberia Maintenance.

“The HK Express team always looks for the most optimal maintenance solution based on the key guiding principles of agility, efficiency and simplicity,” commented Alan Tang, General Manager, Maintenance and Engineering at HK Express.
