India’s Mizoram offers visitors a rare culture

The northeastern region of India known as Mizoram is off the tourist beat but its isolation has enabled it to preserve a culture called tlawmngaihna, a social ethic of helping one another, of community over self. That makes a visit to the region, which extends from the Himalayas to the rivers of Bangladesh, especially memorable.
