Indigenous Alaskans find themselves in old photos

Photos taken circa 1959 in Alaska were rediscovered in 2008, but only recently have many of the Yup’ik people in the photos been identified. University of Alaska Fairbanks professor Walkie Charles was 3 years old in one photo, and he talked about seeing his late brother in a photo and the importance of the images for the history of his people.
