International air travel demand continues to rise

The International Air Transport Association and the Mastercard Economics Institute report that air travel bookings are up significantly in 2022, even with domestic restrictions in China dragging down global figures. United Airlines also reported that searches for international travel are up since the US dropped COVID-19 testing requirements for inbound passengers.
