JetBlue Ventures makes an array of tech investments

In addition to its high-profile investments in Joby eVTOL air taxis, Universal Hydrogen’s engines and Air Company’s CO2-based sustainable aviation fuel, JetBlue Ventures has backed other emerging aviation technology, such as a data analysis program that searches air traffic records to find opportunities for new routings. “We put a relatively modest amount of financial capital into the company we’re investing in, but we’re able to raise their profile and raise the profile of sustainability more broadly in the aviation sector,” Stephen Snyder, managing director of JetBlue Ventures, said in an interview.
