LaGuardia improvements forge ahead; JFK mostly on hold

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is moving forward with improvements at LaGuardia Airport. LaGuardia already opened a portion of the new Terminal B last summer with plans to open ten additional gates next year. Meanwhile, plans to revamp John F. Kennedy International Airport are generally on hold, aside from American Airlines’ proposal to build a new Terminal 8.
