Lawmakers propose extending airline payroll support

The $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package proposal includes $14 billion for extended airline payroll support, $8 billion for airports and $1 billion for airline contractors. “We strongly support the call from aviation union leaders to extend the successful payroll support program, which has been vital to preserving the jobs of our hardworking employees.
