Lodging, leisure slump keys poor Nov. jobs report

Hospitality and leisure added only 23,000 jobs in November, compared to 170,000 in October, as US employment grew by less than half of the 500,000 slots economists had forecast. Lingering concerns over the coronavirus and the large numbers who have not returned to the workforce since the height of the crisis are seen as factors in the decline reported by the Labor Department.
