Maserati Celebrates Racing Heritage with MC20 Icona and Leggenda Special Editions

Maserati is tipping its hat to its illustrious racing history with the release of two special edition MC20 models: the MC20 Icona and the MC20 Leggenda. These releases commemorate Maserati’s return to racing in 2004 with the MC12, which marked the brand’s comeback after a 37-year hiatus and initiated a six-year winning streak.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic MC12, Maserati has infused both the MC20 Icona and Leggenda with elements that echo the glory and design of their predecessor. The MC20 Icona sports the white and blue livery of the MC12 Stradale, celebrating its notable appearance at the 24 Hours of Daytona. It features chrome-plated wheels with a contrasting blue Maserati trident, and an interior dressed in black and royal blue upholstery with white accents, complete with the Trident embroidered in blue on the headrest.

The MC20 Leggenda and MC20 Icona are not just nods to the past but are bold statements of Maserati’s ongoing commitment to blending performance with luxury. These special editions are a creative homage to a pivotal moment in Maserati’s racing narrative, and a testament to the enduring allure of the brand’s sports car legacy.
