MC-21-310 flight-test aircraft arrives in Ulyanovsk

Irkut’s MC-21-310 flight-test aircraft, (73055), powered by Russian PD-14 engines flew from Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a branch of Irkut Corporation (part of UAC, Rostec State Corporation), to Ulyanovsk Vostochny Airport on 22 June.

The aircraft was flown by test pilots Vasily Sevastyanov, and Andrey Voropayev along with flight test engineer Anton Kuznetsov.

Upon landing Sevastyanov said: “The flight was extremely smooth and without any incidents”.

The MC-21-310 aircraft will be painted at Spektr-Avia, Ulyanovsk, and then flown to Ramenskoye Airport (Zhukovsky, Moscow region) to continue with its flight test schedule.
