Mexican resort runs on solar power

A remote resort, Hotel Terrestre in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, runs entirely on solar power, one of the elements of Alberto Kalach’s ecological design. The 14 villas are constructed using handmade mud and concrete bricks, and each has a swimming pool, garden and outdoor shower overlooking the ocean and Sierra de Oaxaca mountains.
