Mexico’s Xala: A $1 Billion Ultra-Luxury Resort and Residential Project Unveiled
A prominent tourism development company in Mexico has unveiled ambitious plans for a $1 billion ultra-luxury resort and residential project along the picturesque coast of Jalisco, named Xala. This significant venture, led by the same team behind the renowned Mandarina coastal development, is set to redefine luxury in the Costalegre region, located south of Puerto Vallarta.
- Luxurious Vision: Xala aims to set new standards of opulence and sophistication in the region, featuring at least two high-end hotels and around 100 vacation residences. Esteemed brands such as Four Seasons and One and Only are expected to be part of this prestigious project.
- Six Senses Hotel: The initial phase of the development will include a 51-villa Six Senses hotel, with completion expected by 2026. Each suite will offer a private pool, enhancing the luxury experience.
- Accessibility: To facilitate access to this secluded paradise, the upcoming Chacalatepec International Airport is set to open next year. Additionally, the Jalisco Tourism Ministry is collaborating with the local government on a 17 million pesos highway redevelopment project to connect the region conveniently.
- Environmental Conservation: Xala is committed to environmental preservation and restoration. Plans include reforesting nearly 250 hectares of land and preserving 590 hectares as a protected area.
