Miami airport gears up for Mother’s Day floral rush

As 90% of flowers entering the US by air arrive at Miami International Airport, gearing up for Mother’s Day is serious business for the facility. “We’re expecting around 1.1 to 1.2 billion stems of flowers coming into the airport this year again,” said Aviation Trade and Logistics Manager Emir Pineda.
