Mich. airport begins work on $7.7M operations center

Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, Mich., has begun work on a new $7.7 million operations and communications center. “This project represents the culmination of years of efforts to realign and streamline our operations and public safety functions,” said Dan Koorndyk, board chair of the Gerald R. Ford Airport Authority.
