Milestone reached at Charlotte, N.C., airport expansion

Crews have finished about half of a $608 million lobby expansion at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina, and construction has begun on a $231 million expansion of Concourse A. It’s part of a $3.5 billion array of projects at the airport, with the Concourse A work expected to be completed in 2024.
