Military ID cards now accepted by airport security

The military’s Common Access Cards now work as travel identification at the Transportation Security Administration’s airport screening checkpoints. The new IDs have been issued to military members, their families and retirees for the past two years but until now a software glitch meant they had to produce a second ID to fly.
