Minneapolis lodging’s resurgence clouded by job losses

Minneapolis hotels have roared back from a reported 3.4% occupancy rate in the depths of the pandemic to 42% and counting, with the weekend volume climbing even higher. However, a caveat looms in terms of rebuilding the hospitality and tourism workforce, which shrank by more than 58% year over year in 2020.
