Mint House Unveils Mtg., Long-Term Stay Programs
Apartment-style lodging provider Mint House unveiled two programs designed to serve corporate clients’ meeting and long-term stay needs, the company announced Tuesday.
Mint House has re-purposed its now allows bookings of its apartment inventory as small meeting space, with the apartment’s adjoining sleep space locked. Mint House chief customer officer Shane Berry said the move was made in response to fast-growing small meeting demand, citing statistics from partner travel management company American Express Global Business Travel.
“American Express GBT was telling us that smaller internal meetings are where they’re seeing the fastest growth,” Berry said. “Rather than wondering how we are were going to put small, boring boardrooms into all of our properties, we said, ‘We’ve got these big apartments; why don’t we just turn them into cool, comfortable well-designed meeting spaces?’”
The program, Meet at Mint, will pilot this spring in about 30 different apartments in New York, Miami, Nashville and Philadelphia before its content is made available in “various small meeting booking channels.”
Meanwhile, Mint House has expanded its LaunchPad program for corporate clients that need long‐term accommodation for newly relocated recruits, summer interns and project‐based travel. Originally built for what Mint House said was a top client, LaunchPad includes special group rates, a dedicated group coordinator and other discounted amenities.
