Miss. acquisition of hotel snagged by ownership doubts

Questions about ownership of the Regency Hotel and Conference Center are clouding negotiations by the state of Mississippi to purchase the property and two others near the State Fairgrounds in Jackson. A state official acknowledged the ownership issue as a “complication,” adding “But I did get word that the investors who own the property have put in process their own appraisal.”
