N.D. program aids veterans seeking pilot training

The University of North Dakota has launched a program that will offer grants to veterans seeking careers as pilots and link them to veterans’ programs at airlines. “One of the things we’ve learned throughout this process is our industry partners, Delta, United, Jetblue, American Airlines, they already have embedded veteran services within their airlines,” said the aerospace school’s Associate Dean Elizabeth Bjerke.
