Nashville International Airport has marked a significant milestone with the unveiling of its new International Arrivals Facility, boasting an expansive footprint of 136,000 square feet and was constructed at a cost of $51 million. It strategically occupies the southern terminus of the terminal, adjacent to Concourse A.

A standout feature of this cutting-edge facility is its remarkable ability to process up to 800 passengers per hour. Achieving such efficiency is made possible through the incorporation of advanced biometric technologies, including facial recognition and automated passport control.

The facility adds a local touch with a captivating 1,000-square-foot mural designed by Nashville native Eric “Mobe” Bass. Titled “Nashville’s Rhythmic Skies,” this mural infuses a distinctive and inviting ambiance into the facility.

The International Arrivals Facility introduces six additional gates capable of handling both international and domestic flights. This expansion significantly bolsters the airport’s overall capacity and operational effectiveness.

Nashville International Airport is now better positioned to accommodate international flights, offering nonstop services to exciting destinations such as London, Cancun, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, and Toronto. This expansion heralds exciting opportunities for travelers.

The inauguration of the International Arrivals Facility signifies a momentous leap forward in advancing the airport’s global connectivity, enhancing the passenger experience, and elevating overall operational efficiency. This achievement aligns seamlessly with Nashville’s visionary plans for its airport’s future.
