New direct route from Copenhagen to Bordeaux

It will now be possible to travel directly from Copenhagen Airport to Bordeaux in southwestern France. It will happen in November, when British easyJet starts flying on the route twice a week.

Bordeaux is a big city with a fantastic atmosphere. Beautiful historic buildings, exciting shops and delicious restaurants with local food. All in all, south-west France offers great experiences in both nature, culture and history – and the Bordeaux region has proud traditions in the production of wine.

Now it will be easier to get from Copenhagen to south-west France. This autumn, easyJet will start flying directly between Copenhagen and Bordeaux – a route that has not been flown since the corona pandemic.

“It is good for the recovery of aviation that easyJet sees great potential in expanding its route network from CPH. Bordeaux is a favorite French destination, which I am also sure that there are many passengers who will be happy, back”, says Morten Mortensen, head of route development at CPH.

easyJet will start flying from Copenhagen to Bordeaux on 10 November 2022 with two weekly departures – Thursday and Sunday. An Airbus A319 will be deployed on the route with space for 156 passengers. There are thus a total of five direct routes from Copenhagen Airport to various French destinations.

There is a great demand for easy and affordable travel throughout Europe, and with our attractive network and offers is that the new route will benefit both cities”, says Reginald Otten, manager, easyJet in France.

British easyJet is one of the world’s largest airlines with a fleet of more than 320 aircraft. easyJet almost 1,000 different routes and covers 153 airports in 35 countries. The company has 14 routes out of CPH to seven different countries.
