New Munch Museum just the first of many in Norway

Norway should be on the to-do list for the art lover. The new Munch Museum, featuring “The Scream,” opens this summer in Oslo and next year the new National Museum opens in Oslo and the Kunstsilo, a museum dedicated to Nordic modern art, opens in nearby Kristiansand. In 2023, the Whale, a cultural museum in Vesteralen in northern Norway, opens to highlight that species’ importance to the region.
