New round of federal funding headed to airport projects

New facilities and airfield maintenance are among the 416 airport projects across the country to receive $518 million in grants from the Federal Aviation Administration. The funding is the second 2022 outlay under the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program, bringing this year’s total so far to $1.1 billion out of the $3.2 billion allocated for fiscal year 2022.
