No shutdown for upscale hotels in Russia despite crisis

While major hotel chains have suspended investment in Russia, five-star hotels are among those they continue to operate, albeit without international guests. Examples include the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow and the Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg, whose owners, Marriott International and Belmond, respectively, say they are monitoring the situation for feasibility of staying open.
