Norwegian Cruise Line Named Official NHL Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line has officially become the National Hockey League’s (NHL) official cruise line, signing a multi-year partnership deal that grants Norwegian exclusive marketing rights and designations. This collaboration allows Norwegian to leverage the NHL’s robust marketing, digital, and social media channels.
As part of the partnership, Norwegian will serve as the presenting sponsor of the NHL’s weekly top goals content, culminating in the goal of the year. Fans will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite goals for a chance to win prizes, including the grand prize of a Norwegian cruise. The cruise line will also be featured at various NHL events, including the NHL All-Star Weekend, NHL Stadium Series, and NHL Winter Classic.
Additionally, Norwegian will gain national broadcast exposure in the U.S. on ESPN and TNT, with advertising opportunities on in-arena boards and virtual in-ice ads.
Adam Malone, Chief Marketing Officer for Norwegian Cruise Line, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “The passion and excitement we see from NHL fans is truly contagious, and we share that same electrifying passion for traveling the globe and delivering more to see, more to do, and more to enjoy for our guests.”
Malone emphasized that this partnership offers a fantastic platform to connect with NHL fans, stating, “We cannot wait to show them how they can ‘Experience More at Sea’ with NCL.”
